My point is simple: If people who stayed were deceived into treating "cop outs" in a vile manner by Craig, but are now no longer deceived and are kind and loving, then why should Craig not be allowed to have the same grace in his life if (and that is a big if) he too has a change of heart? I know he was the leader of the blind, but remember he once was a follower too, just like you and me way way back when. He once was a brand new twig newbie when he first heard from the "men of God from Witchita". And, he may never change. But if he has, or does in the future, then I would happy for him. My wife knew him when he was a nice guy when he first got in so long ago, and he was just a regular guy for awhile, until he got sucked into the machinery... Hi! Did I ever tell you of the "Great Emporia Mailroom With The New Yorkers Debacle?" I wrote it in here once, but then the GSCafe changed to the "new" GScafe, and it is now forever gone. In fact, I had a bunch of fun Tenth Corps stories in here at one time. So maybe I'll write it again, but on a document first, and then paste it over here. Those dang New Yorkers roasted me so bad! My Dad graduated from Ogden High. He served on the Island of Unalaska at Dutch Harbor, Alaska from 1940 to 1945. He learned of Pearl Harbor while there. He suffered the bombing by the Japs during the (northern anchor of) The Battle Of Midway at Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and also served valiantly in The Battle of Attu in the Aleutians. I have a rifle that he took off a dead Jap Soldier from that battle. My Dad said that soldier died valiantly in that cave.... The movie "Three O'Clock High" was filmed at Ogden High School, Ogden, Utah. Great flick! Very unique architecture at that school, and the movie was awesome. My Pop thrilled to see his old high school make the limelight! And, these idiotic, stupid, hating "Christians" who defame the memorial services of our countries' Fallen, should be dipped in hog crap, left to roast in the hot Kansas sun, and then be trampled upon by thousands of freshly pi$$ed off skunks, shat upon by six hundred and sixty six camels who had just consumed three hundred pounds of Limberger Cheese apiece, and then kicked in the ribs a few times each by....me! With tears in my eyes, I think of my Pop doing his last tour of duty at Arlington National Cemetary, and I am so thankful for men and women like him who have answered the call to arms. Thank God they were unaware of such disgraceful actions by fellow "Americans".

Look, it's fine to not have much interest in this guy and his friend. I just find it really strange that if he is authentic that you can't see why he would really be intrigued to post here and have a connection with those hurt by TWI and his "mild mannered and forlorn new acquaintence". I personally would find it fascinating, and would want to know more about him from those who actually know what he he was and maybe still is capable of... And now, am I fascinated with he and Jung? I guess maybe you think people are slobbering all over him as they once did at a music thread Ted Farrell joined in on, which was, as a matter of fact fairly "syrupy". I guess I can't blame you for disliking that kind of thing. But I do not see this as the same as that. But, I do find it very interesting. People have speculated many things about LCM here at the GSCafe concerning what he's been doing after he lost the lawsuit and was given the boot. And so now, here comes a credible explanation as to what he is up to and what he acts like, and you find it weird that people are interested in it? I find that kinda weird myself. But, whatever. I do find it irritating that you have decided that this guy is trying to get people to picture Craig as "remorseful" as well as "try and get us to reconcile with him" when really, once again, all he has done is report what he has seen. I see no reason to disparage him for his interest here. I would bet that if you were in his shoes, you would be interested if not fascinated too. And, as far as the name Freud goes? Well, what's weirder? Word Wolf? Research Geek? Jonny Lingo? Tom Strange? Zixar (The Padawan Magi)? Sunesis (greek for "our thoughts flowing together as two rivers flowing to the sea")? On Top Of The World? Excathedra (words spoken from the throne)? Peruser? Karmicdebt? Greasy Tech? Liar Liar Pants on fire? Dot Matrix? Many names here, like "Excathedra" are tongue in cheek names, and after reading many posts and seeing that, maybe he thought he would "go with the flow" and satyrically name himself "Freud". He is not trying to "get people to accept Craig as a remorseful man". He is simply reporting what he has found and thought it would be of interest to us. This irks me Diaz, because, "it happened the way it happened" not the way we want to twist it. That's one of my pet peeves about this site and many posters here. Things happened the way they happened, and even though there may be plenty of reasons to be angry with TWI and VP and LCM, things still only happened the way they happened, and to speculate and then take it further into a "present truth" is not honest. The bad things done by our previous leaders are bad enough, no need to add to them. At any rate, I am talking about these two guys here and what they have reported, and I do not think it fair to them to say that they "are trying to get us to be lieve that Craig is nice now", which would be twisting what is really happening here. Unless of course they are not who tyhey say they are, and one of 'em is really Craig. :blink: These two guys Siggy and Jung, have simply got to be very very tantalized by this whole thing. Think about it! They meet some guy who happens to be a part of their circle of friends or co-workers. The guy seems to be carrying an inordinate amount of mental baggage, is kind of bland and not flamboyant, and seems to be under-employed meaning that he "certainly seems to be capable of a better, higher paying job". And then, while surfing the Net, comes upon the guy's name, and eventually, the Grease Spot Cafe. Now wouldn't that kind of blow your mind if that happened to you? Geez, these guys have now heard Craig's rantings on audio, read of the things that he did as we all know he did, learned that he mis-used millions of dollars and thousands of people! And so, provided that his report about what the have seen in Craig these last two years is accurate, the contrast must be glaring! Of course they are going to have an interest in it. It must be like an unexpected Pandora's Box to them. What do you want him to do? Invent that his actions resemble a megalomaniac whacko just because it doesn't fit our last description of him? He seems to simply be reporting what he is seeing, and I for one would rather see Craig penitent than still be "breathing out threatenings and slaughter". And so, could what Jung and Freud report here be a facade put on by the "current" LCM? Sure. Could it be a true change in the man? Sure. I don't know the answer to that. But I do know that none of these two are endeavoring to get us to accept Craig as a "changed man". It seems as if they are simply reporting what they have found... And let's not ridicule them because of their names; Freud and Jung. I mean, we have lots of unique names here, most of which are tongue and cheek, just like suspect their names are...

And so, just for the record, there are many many Ex Wayers out there who have simply "moved on". whereas many here are angry about their time in The Way. But many many are not angry, only sad that the whole thing fell apart. There is definitely a difference between the time before the death of VPW, and the time after the death of VPW and the subsequent "split" that occurred after a man named Chris Geer wrote a document entitled "The Passing Of A Patriarch", a cyber copy of which can be found here at this site. The days before the Passing Of A Patriarch "came down" were far more peaceable times in The Way than after "The Great Shake Up". I for one had quite a good time while in The Way, although at the time, I was unaware of the hell so many of our Sweet Sistahs were going through at the literal hands of top leadership. I was actually an ordained Way minister, but I seemed to fellowship with others who were just trying to be simple folks like me. I guess; "birds of a feather flock together", and so I hung with really wonderful people. However, my "elevated status" did bring me into view of hierarchichal bull...., and into contact with some pretty egotistical a-holes. But as a whole, my time there is not something I regret. What I do regret was my not having the insight and cojones to speak up when I saw some things running amuck in the areas of leadership on the field where I served. Although, I did confront a few LC's (limb Coordinators) about what I considered idolatrous conduct. I was pretty low level really, which suited me. The folks accuse him may not be wrong and fear no law suit. But I do not know that they are right. I only know what they are alleging, and won't accuse someone of rape if I do not know that they did it.

Maybe because Craig knows that he abused his power, hurt people in so many other ways that he just wants to walk away from it all. Maybe Freud here has actually met a broken man who broke himself and just wants to walk away instead of firing up a legal battle. The adultry lawsuit was already a defeat for him, so why would he want to keep stirring it up?

FACT: HE HAS TOTALLY DERAILED THIS THREAD - CAN WE START A NEW ONE SO THIS ONE CAN STAY ON TOPIC??????????????? I don't think Oldies derailed it. He just gave his point of view to Freud. People freely told Freud of the alleged rapes, but that was not a de-rail. Oldies simply stated that there were no proven rapes, which is his opinion, which has now been jumped upon with indignation which is the actual de-rail if there actually was a de-rail. And Tom, point well taken. I'm sure the news media will say anything it can get away with, and would drop the words "allege" and "allegation" if they could. But, on the other hand, considering the statement; "A man is considered innocent until proven guilty", something Americans believe to be right and just, I think that there is some merit to what Oldies is saying. And even if the news media uses the word allege to protect themselves from lawsuits, I still believe that it is the responsible thing to do. Kobe Bryant was accused of rape. It was referred to as an alleged rape in the news. It turns out that "he did have sex with that woman", but that he did not rape her. "Just" committed adultry. And now I'll post this. But this fight is moving so quickly that I may now be ten posts behind! Whew!

And, I might add, I think it not irresponsible of Oldiesman to bring up what he brought up. Rape is, in my book, a very heinous crime, worthy of castration or death. Even newspapers and newscasters use the term "alleged" when referring to someone who has even confessed to a murder, rape, or crime, until after there is an actual conviction. Why should we be less responsible than the news media?
