Is this still my "apology" thread? Whoa! MOW! Life is so intricately woven together that I am Amazed! Socks, what eloquent prose! Personally, I think that it is the Love of The Amazing Sea monkeys that has brought us this far, and that I was only "lost" in a Sea of delerium that got me to start this thread, most likely mysteriously guided by the Amazing Sea Monkeys! I am so happy that we have proceeded to this point! Notice the connection between "Monkey Love" and the Amazing Sea Monkeys? Maybe a little too graphic, and the language lewd, but, well, maybe those Amazing Sea Monkeys need lovin too.... Amazing how things evolve.... :)

Well, I prefer to remember Harvey as a sweet and tenderhearted guy. I know it may be hard for a number of you who were "under him" while he was at his worst, and it may be hard for you to forgive him, but, I am with Sunesis. I hope that with him being physically away from HQ, that maybe, hopefully, he will come to his senses and get away from there. It doesn't seem likely, but, only The Father knows. There once was a time in most of our lives that we would never "forsake God" by leaving The Way, and here we are...

How about a thread entitled "Deleted Threads And Re-Categorized Threads". And the Mods who do either the deleting or the "moving" for various reasons can explain why a thread was deleted, or explain where a thread went and why. Excellent idea Socks. This way The Moderators (sounds like "The Regulators"-vigilante group from The Old West) won't get as many pm's that say; "Hey! What happened to my thread?!" For instance, if some one's thread disappears, they can say to themselves; Aha! I know where to go to find out what happened!" And The Moderators at that thread can say; "Jonny's thread was removed because it was deemed offensive". OR, Socks's thread entitled "Why I Keep Coming Back To The Way" was moved to the Prayer Room, or, to the "Just Plain Silly" forum... Good idea Socks! Seems like this thread wasn't a waste of time after all... :)

Hey, I think I was at that big doo with VP in Baltimore when we had to make posters. I wasn't a WOW that year, but a new "Fruit". (Yikes!) BUt I remember that the WOW family I was witnessed to had us all spend the night in the living room and we made posters. However, the date will tell if it was the same get together. Was it the WOW year 75/76? I remember taking my Mom and Dad, and my Dad saying that VP was certainly the "huckster/charleton". Boy he just didn't get it, did he? Haha!!

Yeah, I don't get that either. And, I lied. I said I wouldn't comment here anymore. But, the point you just made White Dove is very valid, and I couldn't resist. The simple fact of the matter is that I posted an offensive link, and I shouldn't have. I am not sure why it has been taken to such extremes. And I don't doubt that Potato. Because I knew him way back when he was just very happy to know that he was born again. A simple and kind hearted brother. Even Craig Martindale used to be that way. My wife knew Craig down in Oklahoma when he was but a branch leader, and Craig was a kind hearted dude. But, as the old saying goes; "Power currupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely". And, that's what happened. I could have climbed the food chain as an ordained one, but the very idea of it was detestable to me. I only wanted to help people. My "forte" was that of being a "one on one" kind of guy, trying to help those who had issues in their lives. And for the life of me, I just can't figure out how Harvey got sucked up into all of that. But, these things happen, as thay have throughout Time In Memorial.....

That's okay DMiller. We have different opinions, that's all. I think Monkeys are supposed to do it with each other, whereas, I don't think that men should dress as women and have sex with each other which that movie to me seemed to promote. No secret that the movie was a gender bender. But, we are all entiltles to those opinions, aren't we? But really and truly, it really was reckless of me to post that clip here, warning or no. The language is way lewd, and how could you know what you were going to hear after you clicked on it? Not polite of me, and you have every right in the world to not like it. And Pawtucket, I may have made a mistake in replying after my initial post, but whether you agree or not, I wanted to apologize and that's that. I mentioned the moderators "name" because I really thought that he did the right thing and I have no problem if others knew it was he who slapped my wrist. Certainly he shouldn't care, for it comes with the job. He was doing his job. I won't reply anymore here. DMiller, have a great week!

No Rumrunner. I have no doubt that he became a completely different person than when we were eighteen. He had to be an arse kisser to get that far up the food chain. And good for you for taking a stand like that and blessing your friends marriage. Did you get in trouble for it? It seemed to me that Harvey's (I still call him Harvee, because he had changed from Harvey to "Harve" after he began his ascent to the position of "Number Two") demeanor changed from genuinely kind and loving to a fake sort of kindness that was just show. And he did that "love bomb" thing with his eyes that was just not genuine. He didn't like it that I called him by his old handle, but I got a "pass" because we'd been neighborhood aquaintences and later friends since sixth grade. No Rumrunner, there is no way Harve was still a "good guy" while defending LCM and the rest of their ilk while they did the terrible things that they did to people. No flames from here...

From my last post: Pawtucket, what about this do you not understand? My bottom line was/is that even though I left a warning, and even though many liked it, I felt the need to apologize to those who were offended. It was a mistake to have posted it. That's pretty clear to me. I could have just said nothing after I heard from Doo Wap, but, I thought an apology was in order...

I didn't remove it Free, someone else did. Most likely 'DOO wAP" the moderator. And, although there is a large number of folks who liked it, there is enough here who didn't and someone complained. DMiller really didn't like it, and I have always been cyberfriends with him here, so, I guess that's why I apologized. But, I did post a major warning with it. But I guess it was like Pandora's Box. "Don't open it, it may offend you!" And of course everyone opened it. And so, Free, you didn't get to see it? And Pond, I really am not being hard on myself, really, I'm fine. I still think the clip is hillarious to the max, and have no guilt whatsoever for enjoying it. My wife and I laughed at it, playing it over and over till our stomach's hurt. But once again, not everyone has the same sensibilities, and I have become cyber friends with a number of folks here, at least a few who, on the thread before it was deleted, expressed their dislike for the clip, and to them I apologize, that's all... :) If anyone wants to see it, send me your e-maill address at my private message deal...

Yeah, it really was funny as hell, wasn' it? I mean, that little guy that was fixated on doing the "grabbing" just kills me! Oh well....

Yeah, I'd like to know what old Harvey is up to these days. I went to highschool with him, and helped to undershepherd him in The Word. He was a fine boy back then, and a helluva guitar player too. And to think that he actually became the VP of TWI is juat crazy! But I wish him well. He had a very tender heart back when we were "little people..............." And speaking of "Waldo", I have a short but funny to me story to relate. When my family and I moved to the small fishing town of Haines, Alaska, on the very first day there when we stopped to ask some directions, we found Waldo!! Yup! It's true! We stopped at this gas station and there was a grizzled man of about sixty years old with a smile that can light up the night! He had a buzz cut for hair, and his arms were the thick and gnarly arms and hands of a working man, but his weathered smile is still one that makes all who meet him comfortable and warm. He reminds me of "John Locke" from the series "Lost", now that I think of it, although even tougher looking. After we got the gas going into our car, he pulls some hard candy out of his pocket and says; "Hey you kids! Want some candy?" And of course my younguns said; "Yes!" And then he proceeds by saying, "Well, my name is Bill Waldo, but everybody around here just calls me "Waldo". And then, one of my kids (can't remember which one) yells from the car; "Hey! It's Waldo! We found Waldo!!! Hi Waldo!!! Where is your red and white shirt!?" And me, the wife, and the rest of the kids ('cept for our 3 week old boy Luke) busted up laughing as did Waldo, for, he knew of the "Where's Waldo?" books. And after we excahnged pleasantries, he welcomed us to Haines, and my kids always made sure to visit Waldo whenever they could, to get more candy... And so, as far as "Waldo" is conncerned, we found him. He is a sweet older gentleman in Haines, Alaska and likes to give candy to the kids. Life surely is Grand, no?

Well DMiller, I never saw what you said when you flew off the handle, so, that's okay. I think you are a fine fella, and I was "out of tune" for posting that....Love you man...

And so. Sorry about offending those who didn't like the "Monkey Love" vid clip. I was told by Doo Wap the moderator that this is a family forum, and that kids could have seen or heard it. I have never thought of this place as a "family forum", due to how heated it gets in here at times. But, I stand corrected on that point. I am sorry, but I thought that my warning about the graphic content was enough to let people know whether or not they wanted to see it or not. Apparently, before the thread had been ejected from the forum, there were some of you here who made comments about your dislike for the thread, but, it was deleted before I got back to read them. So, feel free to comment again. And so, once again, sorry bout that. I must say though, that to me, that vid clip with the voice over is still one of the funniest things I have ever seen, and it kinda fit with the Africam thing to a degree. Anyhoo....Sorry....

Dude, there are many who know! Just like the Rolling Stones (bless their fossils) knew when they sang "Monkey Man", and Alvin Lee when he sang, oh my God, I forgot which one it was, oh yea, "Hard Monkeys". Yeah, Ten Years After was all over it when they wrote and sang that one. "Hard" Monkeys? Yeah, that's because they were hard after it knowing that The Way of Amazing Sea Monkeys was the only salvation for mankind! May the World SOON discover that the way Of the Amazing Sea Monkeys is the only Way to World Peace! For surely, on a sadder note, we desperately need to see more Love and Peace, for, it is awefully Ugly out there. So much death, killin, and slaughter....If only the World knew, then they too would know!!!
