Well said 1broken1! Ya know, as believers (we here who are believers), it really is true that we are to fellowship one with another, help eachother in times of need, and even teach and pray together. Some here advocate that any form of a "fellowship" is TWI-ish". but, how then can it be done? It must be able to be done in some simple manner. I am running a fellowship in my home because it is simple and convenient. My son Keanu, has friends who now come, and so does my daughter. My wife has a gal pal who all of a sudden has become a sponge to learn about the Bible and God's gift of holy spirit. It's a recent development, and it has been exciting. It just sort of fell together and is happening. The fun thing about our little home fellowship is that there is absolutely nothing to join, no classes to take, seminars etc. Just a sweet fellowship with singing and prayer and also we still do manifestations, which has done some serious mind blowing lately. And when peolpe go home, there is nothing expected of them at all. They just had a good time is all. Certainly no "personal prophesy" though. I just would never trust myself to be "God's mouthpiece" for someone elses life like that. nor do I dispense of much personal instruction other than to encourage and to exhort...

But in the end, I truly hope that all who have been burdened by their involvement with any destructive group, will be able to finally move on, which I contend is in their best interests. Like Socks said, I personally would have no reason to write or call JAL, because I have not been involved with CES as many others have. And so, I'll just do more reading here mostly. I hope that it works out for everybody here, and there too! Peace out...

Give a speech on how to find one's "ness". As in your "Herbiejuan-ness". That which makes you you. That special thing that gives you your connection to the Mother Ship so that when the time is right, when the Mothership calls, you'll be able to allow your Herbiejuan-ness to take you to heights you never thought were achieveable... :blink: Umm....Sorry bout that. You'll have to watch the movie "You, Me, and Dupree" with Owen Wilson and Matt Dillon....

I think the reason It has sparked so much interest in ExTWI who are not affiliated with CES is because it is part and parcel of one of the long time debates of GSC to Whit Was PFAL and TWI flawed from the outset--just a shrewd manipulation by VPW--or was PAFL and TWI originally of God and somehow VPW got lost along the way (no pun intended) As long as the perception was that CES had somehow managed to return PFAL and TWI doctrine to an "Older Purer" form as it were there was a body of evidence that supported the former contention. Now, at least from my perspective, the exposure of many of the same flaws in CES as were evinced in TWI brings more credence to the former position. Add to that that we all were involved with TWI in some manner or another and if the former were true we were all first class dupes. CES by maintaining that PFAL wasn't the problem gave us a glimmer that while dupes maybe, just maybe, we weren't total dupes. That belief system has also undergone some serious structural damage with these revelations And there it is. Personally, I think that the latter is the case and that VPW got lost along the way. I think that the flaws came in due to human, or, sin nature, not unlike any and all sin nature found in Biblical records where men and women fell into the insidious trap of the Devil. However, I do not believe that CES returned to the "pure doctrine" of PFAL. I think it way way off intot he wide blue yonder with some pretty strange doctrine as witnessed by this forum.

As a long time Grease Spot Cafe "hang around", I have been very interested to see how much this thread has piqued the interest of fellow GSers. It's like this subject has sparked the flames of all of the EXTWI's here, and that really intrigues me. I am still working on why it is that this is the case. Yeah Belle, but, the bottom line, the very bottom line is simply that, we do in fact need to move on. And that is the Truth. And the sooner that this is reckoned with, the better for the folks involved....

Well my dear, you are very very wrong on this. I have gotten many a reply privately where folks are thankful to be able to say that the "idea of moving on" is the very best plan for their lives. That is why I keep hanging around here: To help those who want to move on, like I HAVE. Don't forget: I was very involved, and saw many of the evils way before you did. And, I want to help. And I have. It is Time To Move On. So, that's that on that....

Well now, I must confess that there are those who are only recently removed from The Way. But, the sooner you extricatate yourself, from the TWI mindset, the better! It's only logical! I know that TWI II was way weirder than Way I (LCM's rantings versus the absense of the same), but regardless, the quicker you "free your mind", the better off you will be! Let it go. You were there when you shouldn't have been. Don't get engrossed in "self analyzation"(sp?), just get on with LIFE! It's nice out here!

So, we beat the Dead Horse of TWI to death (twenty years later), and now there is a new "dead horse" to beat to further "death", and that is CES/STFI. Sorry. It just sticks in my craw that such energy can be spent on something that you/we are not even involved with and cannot change.... Maybe a concert seeing Billy Bacon And The Forbidden Pigs, or, Los Lonely Boys Live would be a nice way to spend the evening? Hmm?
