  1. It's outside............Of your mind....
  2. YES! And if you do, and you believe, it WILL rain! I know, I have done it!!!
  3. I never saw one "porn video" my entire time in residence. That was Tenth Corps. When I took the Advanced Class in Rez, the decision had been made that there would be no more "sensational videos" or sensational cassette tape recordings of "spiritual phenomena or bizarre "possesso" like things. Not that some didn't see the "dog licking female human" video, but, it was not as you said during my time; Never ever saw one of the vids of which you speak. Just didn't happen during my time, so, don't lump me in with all of that. I graduated from the Corps, and didn't see anything more than CF and S revisited...
  4. What were the offending remarks about homosexuality? Just curious. It seems that the lesbian thing was just a bunch of funny guys basically talking about how they like sex with women which then therefore makes them "lesbian". I mean, I hear that all the time: "I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body!" ha ha ha. I mean, I may have missed something that was said in an offensive manner, but, being me, I must have missed it...
  5. Well, I hope it's true! Because; "I'm ready to Go. Ready and willin' to go. Got my affairs in order, yes I'm ready to go! He might come tomorrow, or while I'm singin this song ya know. An if he does I'll never finish it, because I'm a ready to go...
  6. Wow! This thread has some serious LIFE! But, that's no surprise, because you are discussing The Class! No, sorry, just kidding. Sorry bout that. Wanted to be a S. A. I think I dropped out of this discussion thirty pages ago....
  7. Ahh, wish I could sit in with you Bluzman. I just might rate...
  8. Cowgirl, Up here in Alaska, I live in the middle of what is known as the Inside Passage, which is a series of fjiords, channels, island groups, and also is known as the Alexander Archipelago. http://www.pbase.com/britestar/image/31603568 And we have tons and tons of driftwood "littering" our beaches. And, there are "braided" rivers here, where there is always nice dry driftwood laying up on the sandbars. The kids use it for bonfires when "partying" when they drive "out the road" where the "cops are not". Once I found a piece of driftwood that looked kind of like duck, and so I gave it to my then 8 year old son who sold it to one of the tourists off of a cruise ship. He told the lady that it was an official Alaskan Driftwood Duck. And she gave him ten dollars for it, and took his picture with it before he handed it over. The wood that becomes driftwood here is Sitka spruce, northern hemlock, cottonwood, alder, white birch, yellow and red cedar, and, I guess that's mostly it. Some of the little remote beaches here that face the north are simply piled high and deep with driftwood because of the Northers blowing down and piling it up there. And ya know, I have a best pal who likes to carve on driftwood. I'll have to send him something cool that he can carve. Basically, he takes a piece of wood that he finds in the woods, and if it already resembles something, he carves it until it looks even more like that something. And then he sells them, and actually makes money. He's my best friend since seventh grade. I think I'll find him something cool and send it on down to Old Virginny... And, DMiller, you said: DMiller, yer killin me! If I'd a been drinkin' coffee, I'd have blurted it out all over the keyboard and screen here!
  9. Hey thanks, I'll go check that site!
  10. WS, I have heard the comment. But, I only heard it recently. A friend of mine, not mentioning that he'd heard me play the previous Saturday night says, "Hey Jonny, you really suck!" He had a big smile on his face, and I said; "Waddya mean?" And he says; "You really suck man! When you play harmonica you suck!" And I said; "Oh. Haw haw haw..." But it's too late, I am already out of the closet on that one. But actually, I haven't really hidden that here. Other have already known...
  11. Not at all! That was funny. And I don't know who P-Mosh was referring to, except that it was a bummer to see a critical comment like that when this thread had started out as a light hearted one. Hey, Cheers! I like this thread!
  12. Haha! And actually, I never really did want to dance like as in ballet. I was thinking of a funny and dry movie called "Lake Boat" where a guy comes out and confesses that he wanted to be a male ballerina. What would you call a guy like that? A ballerino? I used to go with a girl in the 11th Corps by the name of Madelaine, who was a modern dance dancer. She also had a lot of background in ballet, and she and I used to goof around and she actually had me doing tour jette's in the dance studio where I would pick her up after she had a session. She said I did it pretty good, but, I was only goofing to make her laugh. Haha! I seriously like to dance though, as in going out to a club, listen to good music and dancing. But, my wife doesn't really like to do that. But, she is fine with me dancing with other gals who like dancing...
  13. And so now, the light hearted thread turns toward the ugly. The "coming out" thing was kinda neat, because it seemed like an opportunity to say things without having someone step all over you for it. I guess "coming out" was a bad idea after all. I guess I'll go back into the closet and commune witht he ghost of John Wayne...
  14. Ya know, I was positive I had that spelling wrong Dooj....
  15. Okay. I haven't completely been honest here in Group. Well, it's hard for me to say this, because well, It's just not easy ya know. You see, secretly, I have always wanted to be a ballet dancer. No one knows this but my wife, and she wouldn't have known had she not caught me in my living room with a tutu on and a pair of tights. I was listening to (in my mind) the theme to the "Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairies" while practicing pirouettes and torzheatettes when she walked in on me. Actually, she had been watching in a bemused manner for at least five minutes before I just happened to see her leaning against the livingroom archway with a bemused smile on her face. And so, that's it. It's out. I'm out. I am a closet primadonna ballerina wannabe. But I feel aokay now to share that...
  16. And so Sudo, how does your wife feel about your orientation?
  17. OMG! They are worshiping P-Mosh!
  18. Okay. Here goes: I think that John Wayne was a Great American. I love women and think that God did a spectacular thing when he invented them. I have a strong dislike for "eco-nazis" and believe that their earth worshiping religion has destroyed many many local economies and cultural ways of life. I believe that there is a global warming trend, but I do not believe that it is man made and that Al Gore is using it as a scam to help with his "redistribution of wealth" socialist agenda. I think that the public school system is pumping out mindless young citizens due to the socialism that is being pounded into their minds. I cannot stand political correctness. And, I agree with Dot Matrix on the illegal immigration thing. Build that wall now. And, like Rick and Waysider, I love The Blues, and enjoy playing my harps long and hard to the rythm of keyboard or guitar until the sweat rolls off me and my lungs seem ready to burst. And, I like it really LOUD. I also like to fight. But I only do that with a friend of mine and his buddies who are involved in the ultimate fighting scene. To me it is exhilarating to the max. I like to do everything full tilt boogie...
  19. I could see four crucified. That made sense when I took the time to read through it all and sort it out. It doesn't make any difference to me concerning a relationship with God, other than seeing that it's there. The six denials? Now that's a dandy! I never could figure that one out. I just couldn't "see it" as it was explained. I just figured that I was too "grammatically challenged" or whatever to see it. There was something that VP said the Word said. Something like "twice thou shalt deny me thrice", and so, "twice times thrice" equals six. And I guess six denials is worse than three because 6 is the devil's number? That would be better than 3 because 3 means "complete". Yeah, maybe that is why it was important? Never could figure that one out. Maybe VP pointed these things out to prove that there are no contradictions in the Bible, only apparent contradictions that are understood after closer scrutiny. Maybe that was the motive behind it? Dunno...
  20. A friend of mine sent me that Youtube deal about Atheism. If you bothered to watch it, it was nicely done. However, I wrote him back an in essence said this: When I look at a very nice piece of art work, like a good sculpture or a nice painting, not only do I marvel at the beauty of the piece itself, but I also think; "Wow, this artist is incredible. I am amazed that a person could do such a thing". When I hear an amazing guitar solo, or hear John Popper (Blues Travelers) play his harmonicas, not only do I enjoy the music, but I also marvel at the artist behind it, the skill and ability that it took to play so well and produce something so intricate and pleasing to the ear. And it is like this when I look at this pretty blue world. I marvel at the biology, the geology, and also the astronomy within which this pretty blue world hangs. The intricacies in all of it which are simply staggering! All of the Life that surrounds us every single day. All of that which combines itself so that we humans can motate about, and live and breathe and have our being. And I say to myself; "Wow. There must have been an Artist". An Artist so huge and so amazing whose skills and abilities surpass by light years anything any human being can do. And, I believe that God is that Artist, and that He loves us and gave us all of this, and I choose to let Him know that I appreciate Him and all that He has done for us, and give the credit to Whom the credit is due... "Oh Lord, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom has thou made them all! The earth is full of thy riches..." Psalm 104
