Ahhh Bluzmon... So nice to be refreshed by The Hymn. Had only heard it in m' mind when I was inspired to receive the great revelation of the mystery. And I was wondering, do you think you could post the officialAmazing Sea Monkey outreach song "Here They Come"? Twould be delightsome to hear that one too in that it's been so long since I did purple haze and Mr. Natural to the tunes of Alvin Lee, the conduit for the advent of the Amazing Sea Monkeys...

Oh Water Buffalo- I live in a remote part of Alaska, and we have no "picture show", no movie theater. And by the time I make it to the "big city" like Juneau or Whitehorse Canadia, the movie may be gone.. We are members of "Netflix" (the CD rental club), so as soon as it comes out, we'll probably get it from them. Maybe we can use the big screen tv at the local bar for people to watch it at. We wouldn't charge admission which would make it legal to do. But boy oh boy oh boy. Could you imagine the crowd watching it if they were drinkin? I'd probably have to wear rubber boots because of all of the tears!

Hey Dot, Sounds like your husband is a cool guy. And yeah, six years old really is a little young for that, but I wouldn't hesitate with a ten year old or up. I have an eleven year old who would benefit from it I think. However, it may be a year before I see it anyway because there is no movie theater here in this one moose town. Unless of course we go to Juneau fairly soon, or maybe Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada. If not, I may have to wait for the video. As far as me being rough and tumble, well, thanks for the compliment, and that is mostly true. But I am also a big baby. I cry when I listen to "Hello In There" by John Prine (listen to it sometime!), I cry when I see things like father/son, father/daughter, mother/son, mother/daughter reconciliations in movies and such. And I even get choked up at the end of certain "chick flicks" like Officer and a Gentleman, Sleepless in Seattle, and You've Got Mail. So don't be decieved by your five senses! Hah! Sorry bout that.. --> I am relatively sure that I will be fairly touched to see this new enactment of our lords crucifixion and ressurection. I think that I just plain love Love. I am enamored with this thing called Love, and I love it when Love triumphs, wins, and conquers. And I love all things that come with love. I love respect, honour, duty, self sacrifice for love and all of it. I guess that is why I love God so. I am hoping that this movie will help me to have a greater appreciation for Jesus the man

Why Diazbro! So nice to learn of a parent who does everything right! Or are you a parent? I am presuming that you are though. But ya know, there are a lot of parents who have already "missed the mark" with their kids, and so it won't hurt them to see how the only perfect man who ever lived had a "little" unfairness dished out to him, and how he "opened not his mouth" in response.. And besides, that movie, as Zixar said wasn't as violent as he was led to believe. And, we are talking about the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ here, and ya know, "torture unto death" is usually a fairly violent thing, and I would venture to say that it is whole lot cooler to take your children to see The Passion then it is to take them to see or let them watch the return of some Hobbit King with all of it's horrible monsters, goblins, and such...

Your last sentance; how clever... -
Oh Andrea! I myself have never had the privilege of being in the company of such Amazing Sea Monkeys! Yet, you have. How fortunate! But I have learned recently about how special these Amazing Sea Monkeys are to man and womankind. Permit me to illucidate, for this is the secret information which our adversary the Debbil has sought to keep from us, as Socks so aptly stated a few posts ago.. And now, I shall divulge the story... As I sat there this afternoon, in the company of my ever faithful companion, Spunkey, thinking about how, in the Beginning there was nothing but "hot lumps", a thought came to me like a lightning bolt from Mars! A tune that had been running through my mind throughout the morning gained an immense clarity that I had not thought possible! The song in my mind was none other than "Hard Monkeys" by Alvin Lee and Ten Years After! Hard Monkeys I thought? Why yes! Hard Monkeys! This could mean nothing other than hard, dried, Amazing Sea Monkey eggs! And the fact that the song "Hard Monkeys" came from the album "A Space iIn Time" (get it? Space? Mars? See the connection?) meant nothing other than the fact that these Amazing Sea Monkeys had come from Mars!! Just like the name of this thread! Furthermore, the very name of the Band, "Ten Years After" is an indication that the Amazing Sea Monkeys would go forth ten years after the fall of TWI! That's why they were seen setting up little big top auditoriums and getting ready for some kind of a commissioning(sp?) very recently by one of our beloved posters! Was that you Tom? And, if you didn't know, there is a song on that same album called; "HERE THEY COME!! Yeah well, they're comin all right! To your very door step, bringing the very Word of Amazing Sea Monkeydom.... Yeah, I know that Tom and Socks know what I'm talkin about....How bout the rest of you?

As to your last paragraph, SkepTex, the sentence: may carry some weight, but then again, "politics makes for strange bedfellows" to which this old adage may very well aptly apply. After all, they were murdering an innocent man, the Son of God...

I tried it a second time, but it got lost some how! I think the Adversary is messing with us man! He doesn't want this information about the connection between Ten Years After and the Amazing Sea Monkeys to get out. I will try posting it again later. I hope it's not too late!!

No way!! This thread is now eight pages long!? Aye carrumba... -->

Ohh...People used to take their kids to public hangins and be-headings. This aint gonna hurt em none at all. Let 'em see it and maybe the littel ingrates will learn something about being thankful for once in their pampered little American lives...

Uh Tom, not to be rude, but the spelling is "gazillions, not "gozillions. That's like the difference between Go-rilla and Gue-rilla...HUGE difference! [This message was edited by Jonny Lingo on March 03, 2004 at 17:25.]

You seem a tad cynical Pirate. I think it an amazing thing that such "souveniers" are being made popular due to a Hollywood movie. Cups with Scripture? A necklace doo dad with an imitation of a nail used to nail our lord to the cross? Wow! Back in Way days I would have wanted to pick the whole thing apart, but to me, and to many I spose, this is a way cool thing. My daughter who has been taught the Bible all her life, while in college down in Oregon, went to see the Passion a couple of days ago. She said that she cried her eyes out and came to really understand that "Jesus sacrificed himself for us". I am so thankful for that. We only spoke to her briefly, and that she'll talk with us later. So for just that, I am thankful..

Oh, how clever! But it is only five senses logic... And yeah, I was talkin to you and I guess Garth and anyone else who thinks that's cute and "right on"... "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord" Which includes adherence to His statutes, which a governmental stamp of approval on gay marriages is not. And, we are not going to agree on this one and that is the very bottom line...Sorry Yeah yeah, I know. I am a narrow minded homophobe bigot I guess... -
Hey, somehow I double posted. Sorry. [This message was edited by Jonny Lingo on March 03, 2004 at 0:08.]

Littlehawk. I heard that Bruce was going to teach in Oklahoma City. I don't have any e-mail addresses down there, but I believe he would be there as an affiliate with those who run the Walking In God's Power class. A guy named Roger Braker is part of that. He has some kind of a website too, so maybe you could search that out wth Google or something. And since it is a known fact to me now that Island and Heidi are divorced, does anyone know if Island re-married?

Wow Socks, that stuff about Tolkien and Schwarzennegger is Something! These Sea Monkeys are absolutely, well, amazing! I also read that Tolkien was further inspired to write The Return Of The King because of the little crowns that the Amazing Sea Monkeys wear!
-
Yeah, that! I guess you too have gone to the worship site...

A link to the Amazing Sea Monkey Worship Page: http://www.seamonkeyworship.com/ also, I think I have a pic of a "bobblehead Sea Monkey here:
