  1. Red, I'm glad you found us and that you're here. JT
  2. Too bad there probably won't be any perfect love coming from the Thoughtmeisters. --> This had to be approved all the way up the Way hierarchy to exist. No other way it could be done. He even borrowed some of their look and feel and uses their name in sections. CC, Regarding HQ's involvement, didn't we hear something about the "suggestion of a general...?" JT
  3. That's funny! The Way of (Cheaper) Abundance and Power! Uh Oh, I think I know the name of the new class... ;)-->
  4. What would you think if YOUR new neighbors had that on their car? Would you hurry over and introduce YOUR kids to theirs? Or would you pretend like you weren't home? I guess if you used to be in a cult... :)-->
  5. Ok, I'll stop being so serewious. :)--> Goos for Jesus The BustyMarion Church The WAP-Tryst Church Bootyism My Way International
  6. Looks like they had a "Branch Meeting!" :D--> :D--> :D--> :D--> :D-->
  7. Mr. H, Agreed! My personal one: "We have to run a class..."
  8. TSRTS, There was a big push in our area during the early 90s to get people on staff. They LCs were aware of HQ's "needs" and scouted for worker bees that were dumb, uh, spiritual enough to work on a "need basis." It was presented almost like University of Life. "Not going in the corps but want to grow..." Nothing new under the sun there. ;)--> JT
  9. Belle, I remember the free bumper stickers given out. The white ones with red letters. "The Way of Abundance and Power Prevails!" Translation: "I'm a loser who has lost so much self esteem that I actually believe someone will see this and want to take my class." JT
  10. CC, I doubt it will be PFAL but look for nostalgia in some way. They HAVE to dig up VP (figuratively speaking) in some way. Plus, they have to bury Craig even deeper. I would suspect they'll use some corporate-speak along the lines of "getting back to their roots", etc. It will be run like any good public relations campaign. After legal review, of course. ;)--> JT
  11. Lindy wrote: Whew! I can go back to sleep now. Thought things had changed a little in TWI. Nope. Same old, same old. "We're not telling you what to do but..." -->
  12. What was the movie where Brendon Frasier emerges from a 1950s bomb shelter in the late 90s? Something tells me this could be a similar experience. Hope not but they are leaving their safe cave.
  13. One of the scary things about Craig's decision, uh, "revelation" was how different each corpse was. Recruitment went through phases. When I got in during the late 80s, if you could walk and chew gum without hurting yourself, you were corpse material. Later it was became only for "leaders of 10s of 10s." (As if all of the branches were that big anymore) The standards were all over the place. Then they all get dumped into his delusional bucket and are asked to perform at a level many never expected. So many people were set up for failure by a guy with no real management experience. They had no business trying to be responsible for other's lives when they could BARELY manage their own. Mistaking zeal for ability seemed to be a TWI hallmark. Guess it started at the top though. JT
  14. Maybe we should start taking bets on how long it stays up? Small, little TWI and all of those bad, old copouts. ;)--> CC, I agree completely. EVERYTHING TWI has done is all about self-promotion. True discussion has NEVER been allowed. JT
  15. Belle, I remember those. "The Way of Abundance and Power Prevails" --> Could it shout "I'm a whacko!" any louder? You're right. NOBODY put that stupid thing on their car except wc. Probably Craig's lamest attempt to exorcise the spirit of VP from TWItland. JT
  16. I'm assuming, of course, that you didn't engage in such behavior. :)--> I do agree that it would be great to see him turn his life around. I would help him, if I could. (Ducking as rocks may get thrown my way...)
  17. Does seem like a wimpy response. You'd think the guy went around wearing tights! Oh, wait... ;)-->
  18. Mr H, I think most folks will forgive bad behavior at some point. Alleged organizational manipulation by a employer acting on behalf of a sexual predator? Well...different story. JT
  19. Maybe the "powers that be" want to get off the lesbian topic anyway?
  20. Onion, Do they still have the "Vision and Direction" program that LCM put in place? It was supposed to define how to become a coordinator. JT
  21. Virginia had about 120 about two years ago but was actually growing before the law suits hit. I had heard that there were NO people at all in DC. North Dakota had two living areas with people but not sure of the headcount. I believe it was one large group in each area. No one in Delaware two years ago. I'm very curious about Ohio. Anyone know?
  22. AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH.... MY EYES! Ok, Steve!, you win! Bring Craig back! ;)-->
  23. Are RCs usually full time? Either way, our LC worked about 35 hours per week for TWI with no pay. Belle, are you sure it's only 20 hours? Not questioning you. It's just so much less than a LC. JT
  24. Mr. H, Ok, ewwwwww....! Desperately trying to picture ANYthing else! If he did start a splinter group, wouldn't it go against his own view of himself? If he sees himself as the MOG then he should cling to that delusion. Sort of like the deposed king who dies waiting for his country to "call him in it's hour of need." Uh oh... that's a scary thought.
  25. WW: :D--> :D--> :D--> Not sure if you were trying to be funny or not but that is a great statement. True through the days of WAP and may still be today. JT
