  1. I went one semester to college after high school then dropped out to enlist in the USAF at age 18. IOW, I didn't accomplish much before TWIt. But after leaving, I finished college have had a career or two and am now retired (not living lavishly). But I'm comfortable with my lot in life... raised a daughter and now have two lovely grandchildren.

  2. I had a career, which could have taken me to places of influence. Not really been able to pick that up again. Do something very different now. I had some good friends, who (amazingly) have welcomed me "back" with love in my post-Way days. I liked music and bands and whatever, mostly rock/prog rock style, but my musical interests got squashed in Waydaze. Happily now I have resumed an interest in music and am getting the musical education I missed out on in secondary school - rather different - now I sing in a choir (mostly works by Mozart, Brahms, those older composers - brilliant choirmaster, Head of the school's music dept, makes sure we know what was going on in music at the time); sing in a couple of church worship groups in "cathedral contemporary" style. In fact, sung a solo part in the abbey here, 500 in the congregation (yikes!). What else? Broke up with a nice guy that I could've been with even now - he wasn't interested in God stuff so I lost interest in him. (He's been married many years now now to the person he met after me). But I have nice male friends in my life ... and who knows where it goes from here? (smiles privately to self).

  3. I suppose one can assume “mastery” of wierwille’s writings can be the same as “mastering” the KJV Bible if one accepts wierwille’s twisted scheme of interpretation…and I suppose if one accepted the meaning of love as defined by a consummate hypocrite, liar, thief, plagiarist, and sexual predator like wierwille – then one could assume they are applying their mastery of his writings in love. To answer this question of Mike’s “Do you know anyone else who heard an audible promise from God to get taught directly by God?” I will need some time to compile a list of the many charlatans who have misled followers by pretending to have a hotline to God.

  4. Does anybody besides me find it amusing that a guy that couldn't master himself gave a teaching exhorting people to master his writings?

  5. '68 Opel Kadett. Had only 3,000 miles on it. I paid $1,400 cash. I put a Mini-8 (8 track tape deck) in the glove box and added some speakers. THIS is the kind of stuff I listened to, cruising around empty city streets, late at night.

  6. I had a career. Which wonderfully took me to another country. Which, since this thread appears to have become about cars, enabled me to buy my first car, a Ford Laser Sport. Bright red, it was (especially once I'd cut'n'polished it, brought the colour up beautifully). I liked it a lot. Like this but below the rubber door trim it was red, not grey as in the image.

  8. Wierwille could not have fooled Penn and Teller with his BS. Penn is an agnostic Jew with Libertarian political views and he would have seen the smoke and mirrors of TWI

  9. Yo home slice. I finally got round to reading all your inferences here. I know I commented on this thread long ago, but don't think I read your whole "I found a treasure" line and pursuit of it there. What I do have to say to you is been there, done that, have the f'ing t-shirt. That last teaching the joy of serving was going around during the fog years, and was the foundation of the Corps training during that time. My entire f-ing in-residence Corps training was basically doing exactly f-ing that. Mastering the foundational, intermediate, and advanced classes, along with the collaterals. Letting a lot of things slip through our fingers is horse sh1t. Most of PFAL was ripped off from BG Leonard. RHST, and the INT class basically are JE Stiles trying to help out VP be genuine and manifest when he failed on stage in front of an auditorium and lied about it. (We know this thanks to Elen@ Wh1teside and TWLIL). Mix in some ninja tricks picked up from eastern visitor KC Pillai and you have a real complete hustle session in a package. VP used sleight of hand tactics with unmeaningful verses in the collaterals like "4 Crucified", "The Day JC Died" and other conspiracy theory oriented interpretations of scripture. Then he would chain from that to "If you can't trust them on the least things concerning JC, how can you trust them with the truth of eternal life?". With BS logic he got us to doubt our teenage pastors, and follow the Pied Piper off into New KnoxvilleLand. If it got lost for another 17 years it would be doing humanity a service.

  10. Went out to mow my front yard. Just in the nick of time, I noticed someone's pet pooch "lost" its last meal on my tree lawn. WHEW! Close call. That's kinda how I feel about *Dr.'s* lost teaching. It's best if we see it for the pile of dung it is before we go cluelessly trouncing through it.
