Gonna speak from my heart. I sold my honest soul to twi. Based on a lie that Craig Martindale was the man of god for our day and time. I hold no fault. Decieving and being deceived. I have learned to let my anger go. Let my words stand as a warning. TWI is a corrupt organization. That u can use God's Words to profit u only serves yourself. What was spoken was stolen. All i ever saw from 1999 to 2008 was a flat out coverup. Lies and a flat out coverup. How tf can u deny Craig Martindale. Donna? Really? U came to my house and told me I needed a break? Who tf are u. Btw i did walk in on Marsha n Melissa having a make out session in the EOB. Straight mouth to mouth. And how many times did i see u and Rosalie together. U at her house and her at yours. My house is clean. JYDL. Open your damn eyes. U think they groomed u for honesty sake? John L!nder could sink this life raft at any time. And u think Donna's not controlling things? I saw first hand at placements 2007 Donna and Rosalie huddled up on break deciding Way Corps assignments. Our lives are worth more. But this one thing i can say. I gave my all heart and soul. Open and honestly. Thank u for opening my eyes. U can't hide the truth.

Oldskool, I too was guilty of 'worshiping' martindale and am deeply disturbed and sorry that I ever did.He STOLE and DESTROYED many many many lives.Teared families/marriages apart.Bullied people manipulated,duped and scamed alot,the list goes on....It wasn't until I came across Greasepot Cafe, the extent of his hidden evil psychopathic reign.martindale has not yet apologised or made amends to any of the families/individuals and for that I call you martindale a coward.You became a greasepot and your 'legacy' went down in flames.Rosalie is no different same goes for Donna The reasoning behind me joining GSC cafe is to get solid,informed and speak out against this cult.Like Ralph D / Paul Allen and others before me who took It to 'way heads' front on, I am reminded and strengthened that these guys at the top of twi chain are not invincible Message to the way heads if you are reading this Let your congregation know the 'TRUTH' because isn't that what sets you free? When did twi's stranglehold on wierwille's mog-status, impact and legacy lose its grip? Did the stranglehold cease when many clergy/corps dissented and exited in late '70s or early '80s? Did the stranglehold cease when wierwille died in May 1985? Did the stranglehold cease when geer read "The Patriarch" paper at corps week, 1986? Did the stranglehold cease when lynn and others wrote that 37-page proclamation? Did the stranglehold cease with an exodus of a reported 80% of corps leadership? Did the stranglehold cease when dozens of splinter groups started preaching "the truth?" When did the stranglehold cease? Well......imo, the stranglehold ceased when twi-gatekeepers could NO LONGER control the message or contain the secrets. The leaders (cough, cough) who exited en masse after "the poop paper propaganda" did very little to release the wierwille-the-man-of-God vise grip. The geer camp kept beating the same drum. The lynn camp did better.....but just seemed to sidestep the wierwille doctrine/legacy in many ways. What about the finn3gan camp? The summ3rville camp? Others? The shr0yer camp seemed to embrace the wierwille doctrine more closely.....of which, the two younger wierwille kids hitched a ride to keep the embers glowing? The stranglehold was BROKEN when Waydale in April 1999 took the fight directly at Martindale and twi. The full onslaught of punches caught martindale/twi off guard and in a defensive posture. Pa-ul All3n hit them with an uppercut that left them staggering to find the ropes. From a position of husband-rage and legal strength, this man went on a relentless, 18-hours a day, flurry of punches that staggered the corporate "giant." Month after month, the scandalous secrets poured forth on Waydale. Twi mandated that their followers stay off the internet and, it didn't take long before martindale had to publically admit to this "consensual affair." Twi knew that Waydale was, indeed, a formidable foe. A second lawsuit erupted......and martindale's fate was sealed. Cover-ups. Silence. Lawyers. Depositions. The All3n lawsuit was settled out of court and sealed from prying eyes. Martindale was ousted. Within a year, 7 region coordinators had sent in their resignation letters and headed for the doors to separate themselves from all things twi. Amazingly, the loyalist trunk coordinator, panasmello around like 2004 and started on offshoot and STILL clings to wierwille doctrine (from what I've heard). Greasespot Café didn't miss a beat and picked up when the Waydale websie, under settlement agreement, was to close down. But make NO mistake.......it was NOT the staunch defectors from the 1986 exodus who broke the twi-stranglehold. Many of those men went forward to fill their pews and pockets with the wierwille-deception, the fake-truth doctrine, that they embraced.....still. They simply wanted the deception, and funneling of money, to continue as long as possible. They were, and are, complicit in leading these followers astray. Woe unto them. Waydale........thank you! nice choice HG30...you know, until I was familiar with Journey's tunes - just going on their sound - I used to get them confused with Asia and Toto. let's jack things up a little bit. Buddy Guy doing Mustang Sally live...i just love his live performances....a few years ago Tonto and I caught him at a small club in Fort Worth (Caravan of Dreams - i think that was the name)- - it was fantabulous ! i think he was wearing bib overalls and with his polka dotted guitar on wireless transmitter was walking around the small tables of the club interacting with the audience...there ain't no hype...this man is a down-to-earth-blues-full-of-blessed-music... what a guitarist !!!! and what an engaging performer !!!

And yes.......that "1995 directive" for all corps to be on cult-payroll was an absolute nightmare. With wierwille's twisted concept of "needs-basis" doctrine.........the cult had its hooks in us really deep. And you.......having been there in the cult dispatch office with two-way radios and linder's security guys........I totally understand. I, too, had those nightmares and flashbacks.

Yes, the ripples continue. I knew Joey, the author of this article, when he was a baby. I knew his parents at HQ when we were there working on staff and when he was born. His father and mother made their decision to stay at the same time I decided to go. His father and I had a conversation in 1986 when I was resigning from the research team. I expressed my concerns CLEARLY about how messed up the leaders were, as well as the research (which he knew some of) and his reply was only that he needed time to think about things. Obviously, he thought differently than I did ... This son had no chance to decide. He was in TWI because of his parents. Like so many other kids, the choice to be involved with TWI was their parents', not theirs, and this puts things in a different light. My daughter was 12 yrs. old when we broke from TWI. Only recently she told me she had thought we believed VPW was Jesus Christ! Good grief. Now, I know no one ever said that out loud. Never did I tell her that is what we believed, because we did not believe that outrageous idea (at least I didn't). But evidently, as a little girl, she picked up on the way we showered VPW with adoration, kowtowed to his authority on "the Word," and repeated his name all the time, made him into a "king" of sorts. So in her little girl mind, she made that horrific connection. Very telling ...

Thank you for your service here at GSC, Skyrider. I, too, feel an obligation to help mitigate damage. Some of you know, I was a clergyman's wife and biblical researcher at HQ. Keep offering "the other side of the story" and you never know who it may help around the world. As someone pointed out, there will be personal bias in our stories (which is unavoidable since we are human beings) but that is the value here, as together, they verify so much about TWI that has been hidden. I'm reminded of that old story about the many people with one hand on an elephant. Each person describes the elephant in terms of the part they touch. Added together, the descriptions offer the big picture.

Thru the years, I've gone long stretches of time without walking thru the doors here.......rebuilding my life, my family, business, and helping two sons thru college and one thru med school. These past 18 years have been a busy stretch of time......and along the way, in real life, all those situations and people in my life have heaped enough bushels of wheat to fill a truckload of blessings. I have continued my patronage at GSC because I believe in its mission. It matters not a whit to me what someone else might THINK of my involvement on this site. Although its but a very small part of my day.......my purpose is to help extricate as many as possible from the way international cult. People around the world gather into organizations or causes that they believe worthy to help mankind. Whether its church, or community, or one's neighborhood association......political, environmental, or human right's causes.....or MADD....people join in because it's personal OR they believe its cause will personally benefit the generations to follow. And, clearly......one doesn't necessarily go thru life with just ONE banner to carry. Many of us have learned how to multi-task. lol We gather around this GSC platform,..... because numbers attract attention to spotlight and generate impact. Here......we expose the cult that, temporarily, derailed our lives. Personally, having been a clergyman in all this.......I feel an extra obligation to help mitigate the damage of the cult. That 1985 TWI Clergy Roster lists the names of nearly 350 clergy men and women........of which, less than a dozen have ever come forward to expose AND help extricate others. Three or four of them......were of little help in rolling up their sleeves. Martindale increased the clergy numbers substantially ...... from 1993-1996 another 390 clergymen were "salted" to the cult. So........to ALL these clergy that exited, where are you? And, to the dozens upon dozens who put out their shingle of "The First Church of the Wierwillites"..............woe unto you. Corps and hq-staffers have, also, exited the cult doors these past 40 years. Many of them carried the banner of the cult into their home fellowships, weekly bible studies, and Facebook postings even to this day. Even John Lynn came to GSC years ago and claimed that "wierwille would be proud of him" for still holding this "truth" high. The polar extremes of exiting this cult are still reverberating into the next generation. And so it is....... But GSC is here......to tell the other side of this cult. .

If there were no GS then there would be one less resource for people to recover from the negative impact of the Way International. One of my relatives has a rare disease, OT - tremors. There are only a handful of people diagnosed with this disease across the world. She had great deliverance over the course of the last couple years when these folks got together and shared their stories, they even had a retreat. Hearing similar stories helped her to adjust to her disease, feel not alone, and since the two meetings she talks about them a great deal. Just seeing another human adjust to the condition and live a 'normal' life helped her so much. Like her, we who have experienced TWI also have a rare disease. I will be the first to admit I am damaged from it. The experiences there have affected aspects of my entire life into today. There aren't many people in public that can relate to me regarding this experience. it affects a lot in my life. I could ignore, that, suppress that, or admit it and heal and adjust. But admit it or not, my 'normal' life is a lot like my relative trying to adjust. To me the real heroes of The Way International experience are not the ones in lofty places, with condescending attitudes, being installed with pomp and ceremony into the highest offices of the organization that is growing less relevant every year. Not those who bury their heads in the sand, "thinking no evil" like the 3 monkey statue shows. Not those who use others to advance themselves. Not the enablers. No, the real heroes of The Way International are found on these pages. Those who tell the truth. Those who expose the lies, the control, the manipulation. Those who share real life drama about escape and adjustment. Those who say what everyone is thinking in the audience but are afraid to express to anyone - yes the STS sucks. Like every Way production. Boring, read teachings, whitewashed messages, all lies. The truth is what happens behind closed doors, where they are meeting out of fear. If you want to see a real hero from the Way experience, go look in the mirror. It's you. You survived. You told the truth. You, my friends on Greasespot, are the true heroes, not the moral midget being installed as President or any of his Pharisee buddies. Or any of the various hucksters selling versions of lies for their own profit. You are the true heroes. Even if you're damaged like me.
