  1. I was way off going with "The Terminal", except that it didn't have any articles of clothing in the title. I assume WordWolf is correct, but I'm not familiar with it. But that's not unusual.

  2. If you end up making them MORE difficult, I'll just be stuck spectating the thread...

  4. great clue Rottie-of course it's the Gong Show. since I know I'm right- I may get charged with going too old again-but this show was brought to you by a former President, and 20 mule team Borax.

  5. "Everything somehow needs to be dramatized!" It's somebody's story. She has a right to tell it. What anyone does with it after that is not something she can be expected to control. I don't mind criticism (not necessarily assuming you were criticizing any one of the posters/commenters here, including me), but I will offer some in return. Have you even considered what it's like to be in Ms. Knight's shoes? I have plenty of disdain for corporate media that may exploit the situation for a salacious ratings grab, but really if the person whose story it is wants the story told, and people are interested in knowing it, who am I to judge her? She doesn't come off as a publicity hound, but rather as someone who did, indeed experience unspeakable horror. It's not my place to judge her. I question whether it's any of ours. My question then would be, why are you watching it?

  6. Love that quote Rottie! There's some good contemporary Christian music out there. There's some crap too, but there's some good stuff. What really chaps me off, though is when they take an old hymn like, "How Great Thou Art", and they add a rock beat to it. Ooooh! If you want to write and record new music fine, but the old hymns are just fine the way they are.

  7. Yeah, I used to think ABS was to "move God's Word" when all it did was support their communal lifestyle at HQ. WE on the "field" were "moving the Word" but with no financial support. God forbid anyone ever expect HQ to help US.

  8. Twinkie This happened in an area of Cleveland that is very depressed, economically. I know this first hand. I doubt she has many options to find gainful employment. Perhaps, in addition to the therapeutic aspect, this will give her an opportunity to provide for herself and her family. I really don't think she is seeking celebrity.

  9. NO. You were abused. Could you have made better choices? Probably. But you DIDN'T desrve it. George
