  2. Well hel-looo, geisha! Kinda juvenile, isn't it? Ha-ha! Yeah, what the heck was that all about? I was gonna mention it but I didn't. I just gave you a plus. I don't normally do the plus/minus thing. :) @ Dr. WW: I think your "zero" posts rubbed somebody the wrong way for whatever reason.

  4. Those red/green buttons that vote your post up or down? Wow! Like they determine who and what you really are? The people who know you better won't give a ratz pizzazz about some insignificant pair of clickable buttons, and the people who don't know you won't care either. So welcome to the Greasespot, where the women are tuff, the men have hairy armp**s, and the moderator is cool n' groovy.

  5. +1 (I didn't use the green button.) They're like the like/dislike buttons on Facebook and other forums. Except there you know who's liking and not liking.

  6. The dominant minority camp usually are those that don't have anything else going on in their life. They clamor and struggle and climb over others for a paid position because otherwise they would be nobodies in menial positions in society (kind of like the Forehead went back to). Like the OT says they are in priest positions for a piece of bread. And as a result they are absolutely dictated by fear. The lock step is an act, and a survival instinct. It's survival politics. With the extreme egos of those in charge as well as the low tolerance for opposing ideas and the high level of control, that's the only way they survive. It's a very diseased organization, with a corporate culture that leads to oblivion. Some of the younger leaders absolutely know this and are wasting their lives trying to hang on long enough for some of the worst to retire. It's a fool's game. At what point does selling out not change you? after 15-20 years of playing the game what makes you think you won't become the game?

  8. Teachme, I believe the "something better" in Hebrews 11:40 was the coming Kingdom on earth promised in the OT and the better city, the New Jerusalem that Abraham looked for. There will be the heavenly Jerusalem descending to earth. I love the book of Hebrews - its an amazing book on our Savior and what he did. Hebrews was written to the Jew and Gentile showing Christ as High Priest. Here's a list somewhere you may like, I forgot where I got it, but I've kept it in the back of my bible over the last few years. I. Kingdom Offered - the gospels "Repent, for the Kingdom is at Hand." II. Kingdom Re-offered to Israel - Acts. The re-offer was ended at Acts 28:28 because, "He came unto His own and His own received him not." During Acts: A. Epistles written by the Apostles to the Jews only: James - Works as outcome of faith I Peter - Suffering and Glory II Peter - Prophecy and Day of the Lord I John - Fellowship II John - The Truth III John - Hospitality B. Epistles written by Paul to Jew and Gentile - during time of RE-offer to Israel. The Gentiel is grafted in, the middle wall in the temple is still, literally up. The Jew is First ("To the Jew First") Romans - Justification by faith - Jew and Gentile I Corinthians - Carnality and spiritual things II Corinthians - Ministry and comfort Galations - Cross of Christ I Thessalonians - the Coming (Parousia) II Thessalonians - The revelation from Heaven Hebrews - Christ as High Priest III. Kingdom held in abeyance - Acts 28:28 until the "Lord's Day" (Book of Revelation). Israel blinded, Salvation sent to Gentiles. A. Gospel of the Dispensation of the Mystery To Gentiles - who's hope is in the heavenlies, or literally, "above the heavens" in "Glory" This truth not found in Moses, prophets, nor in ministries of Christ or the 12. Ephesians - In Christ - Heavenly citizenship, blessings and walk Philippians - Christ within, prize of the High calling Colossians - Complete in him, Christ as the Head I Timothy - Doctrine and Godliness II Timothy - The Crown - these last days (of the grace administration) Titus - Soundness, Hope Philemon - Christian Forgiveness. IV. Kingdom Accepted. The Day of the Lord. From Israel's repentence to the deliverance of the Kingdom to the Father. Promise of life fulfilled. Ends in New Heaven and New Earth in which dwells righteousness. Revelation. All prophecy fulfilled. Completes the beginning of Genesis. We now step off into eternity... :) This is just a list I found somewhere, but I kind of like it. Do I agree with all of it - no, but its a handy little guide and outline. Hope you enjoy it Teachme.

  9. 1.5=The God-fearing minority Who actually do some "side research" without the TWI filters.... and start to notice ''Way Theology'' unraveling right before their very eyes. These would be in the silent dissenters group, however, and recognize that there IS somewhere ''OUT THERE" they could go. Now, they have a choice to make. Unfortunately, sometimes that choice is too high a price (to them) to take a stand. They will reap with bitterness the sting of their choice to stay. The cost to their soul, the mental health of themselves and family, and the empty chasm engulfed between them and God, is a very high price indeed.

  10. I would not worry either. I have not posted here for two weeks, barely looked at the board..... and someone voted 20 or so of mine down just the other day. Which means they had to go back further than two weeks to find them. I just look at the last people who look at my profile. I would give you a plus mark, but I used up all of mine fixing all of Mstar's negatives in the MUSIC thread, because someone voted a bunch of his down. In the MUSIC thread??? Subjective taste....music???? Sunesis is right...who cares....there is an ebb and flow here. When pluses are given for one word answers....snide remarks....or naming people.....you know it is not for the merit of the post anyway. When I can.....I will plus you.....very much!

  11. I thank all concerned parties for helping me cope with this kind of situation. I will not take it to heart any longer. I am rubber and they are glue... :) I know my heart and my capacity to love and I won't let my joy and peace be eclipsed by their immature and vindictive nature. I wish no evil will and in time they may sense my patience and compassion. Yes, I sometimes (maybe often) speak openly against the Bible but I do it with a desire to know the truth and not just believe it because someone else says so. I have no fear in putting God to the test... I am tired of the divisive nature of many of the scriptures (three religions killing each other for many centuries) and these people just prove my point about the dangers of how the orthodoxy has radicalized their minds. I am moving on and I will, take it as a compliment. THANKS! Yes, I'm making lemon-aid, extra sweet and the cherry pits I will plant in my backyard and try and grow a tree. Much Love DWW

  12. I wouldn't worry about it. I post in the political forum and people don't like my politics. I have a terrible rep. All the ones in lockstep pat themselves on the back and give each other great reps - its comical. Really, don't take is too seriously :)

  13. Perhaps you should consider it a compliment. I mean if people are taking the trouble to read your post and then vote against it, they're reading it right? If they're voting it down, then you had an affect. I think that's kind of cool. I suggest you keep posting, you're making people think. I dunno, I think it's a problem if everyone agrees with me all the time. One more thing, if they won't face you directly, what does that say about them? This forum is supposed to be a place for an exchange of ideas and perspectives, not a mutual admiration society.

  14. Bravo! :eusa_clap: There has been a long long line of great sightless musicians, one of my favorites being the Gaelic Harpist Turlough Carolan. Unfortunately no videos or recordings of him playing exist, which would be incredible to be behold but he died 300 years ago long before any of that stuff. Thankfully many of his fascinating melodies survive now played on all sorts of instruments... Heres a piece of his played on the type of instrument he apparently played... <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL_1_Q2LL6A&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL_1_Q2LL6A&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL_1_Q2LL6A&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

  16. Ron, It looks like GoDaddy has WordPress available - it may be already included in your package. There are a lot of Word Press Themes - as of today 1,213 of them. Some have more features than others. There are some really sharp out-of-the-box photo galleries. The "Suffusion" theme is often used for photo galleries. Not much need to code anything and it's fairly easy to change themes until you get one you like but be happy with what you've chosen before loading it up. In WP you get extra features with plugins. Not all plugins work with every theme. You activate themes and plugins by point and click. .
