As I grow older I see more and more that a person's "spiritual journey" is an individual and private journey. Whenever a group of people organize it and give it a name, it begins to evolve into a controlling, egotistical bunch of whoremongers...toxic faith? sure...works for me. As far as I'm concerned, as soon as they give themselves a name, I have a target. As Robert Hunter once wrote..."Don't lend your hand to raise no flag upon a ship of fools"
