Ok, a game show round. Identify ONE OR MORE to take the round. A) This is a game show that lasted for several seasons, on different channels, and even spawned a video game based on gameplay. The actual gameplay was pretty straightforward, but a lot of the show's success was based not on the gameplay, but on STYLE. The gameplay for an entire episode could be over in less than 5 minutes, but we padded it out with responses from the audience, with feedback from family members there to support the player, and with the show's unseen antagonist (the banker) occasionally doing something unexpected in the game area. In at least a few episodes, we saw the show's antagonist very clearly and got to hear them. That was because they got permission to exchange the antagonist for DARTH VADER, and there's no reason to include him if you can't see or hear him. The rest of the show's cast also got a wardrobe change for those episodes, as well (all 26 of them), although the host kept his suits. The name of the show is easy to understand for anyone who has watched even one episode of the show, since the show is dominated by asking one simple question. The name of the show is NOT written as a question despite that. B) This game show has 2 teams face off against each other. Each team plays in turns. A sentence was posed to a group of the general public of the US, with a word or phrase missing, with each person asked to fill in the blank. The most common answers are chosen, and placed on the board, with only the first letter of each word showing. (So, if one of the most common answers was "Greasespot Cafe", the board would show 'G_________ C___".) Each player is given a chance to guess words on the board. If they get one right, they guess again, and wrong answers mean play passes to the next team member until time runs out. C) This game show is a wordplay game in which two teams of contestants try to complete a series of words, with each word associated with its preceding word in one way, and its succeeding word in another way. D) This game show is a new take on the classic game show where two contestants compete to place three of their marks in a row on the giant trivia board. Both players must try to avoid the dragon, who lurks to steal their turns and stands in their path to victory. E) This game show started on the Sci Fi Channel. It challenged people to go to this well-appointed fancy manor in Argentina, and do challenges based on their possible phobias. F) This game show was filmed in the US, and dealt with things about which people may have had phobias.

IIRC, he's not a Baldwin brother at all. I only remember him being in one movie. What I need is someone else who was in that movie, who I remember in some other movie. *starts running through the cast* Oh, I've got it! Serenity Alan Tudyk A Knight's Tale

Um, "Bohemian Rhapsody"??????

If you have been reading since 2009, you missed the most interesting parts of the Mike Wars. Glad you made it, either way. Enjoy your stay here.

Luke 21:20-31 provides witnesses who contribute to the divine truths of the Parable of the 10 Virgins: 100% Israel. Again, it's the mystery. I’ll be back with this divine connection. Peace. revvel

Oldiesman: Many thanks for your input. It inspired another train of thought. Christ is the One who handed us the key to “unlock”/shed light on His own prophecies/parables in the Gospels: The Revelation of the Mystery. There is a mystery for Israel. And a mystery for the Church. Looking back to The Torah to the Gospel of John, we see both mysteries, once hidden, revealed by Christ after His Ascension. The subject of the Parable of the 10 Virgins is the coming kingdom of Heaven (on Earth), which is when the world will witness the restoration of Israel’s kingdom—when the High Priest, Christ, saves Israel & makes atonement for the house of Jacob. Romans 11: The Mystery: Israel/Matthew 25 When we read the Parable of the 10 Virgins… This is what will actually come to pass when the prophetic parable is fulfilled: "For I, brethren, would not have you be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits: that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved, as it is written: There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. For this is My covenant unto them when I shall take away their sins.” (Rom. 11:25-27) Paul quoted Isaiah (59:20, 21; 27:9) to reveal the mystery for Israel once hidden in Isaiah’s prophecies. And the Parable of the 10 Virgins is an illustration of this prophetic truth. It will be fulfilled at the second coming to Israel: Matt. 24:27-31. Hidden in the (prophetic) Parable of the 10 Virgins was the mystery for Israel—not the Church. The literal context (Matt. 24:27-31) and figurative context (Parables of the Fig Tree & 10 Virgins) speak of Israel. These all speak of the mystery for Israel which shall be fulfilled—which includes the kingdom of Israel, restored. Acts 1 “So when they had come together, they asked Him, ‘Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?’” He said to them, “It is not for you to know the times or the dates, which the Father has fixed by His own authority.” (Acts 1:6,7) Christ didn’t refute His disciples. He simply said the timing is not yet; it is in the hands of the Father. He determines when the mystery for Israel will be fulfilled. It’s not a question of “if,” but rather, “when.” Acts 15 James issued the same prophetic statement about the coming restoration of Israel—quoting the prophet Amos. And James did so in the context of the Gentiles being grafted in (revealing the mystery): “With this the words of the prophets agree. As it is written: ‘After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; that the rest of men may seek the Lord, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name, says the Lord who does all these things.’ Known to God are all His works since the beginning of the world.” (Acts 15:15-18) It is the Revelation of the Mystery that sheds divine light on Matthew 24 & 25—and likewise with Luke 21. Next: Luke 21/The Fig Tree/10 Virgins Peace. revvel

I remember, back in the day, there was a twig leaders' syllabus that outlined acceptable behavior at large events, such as limb meetings, branch meetings and so forth. One of the admonitions listed was to "refrain from picking your own seat." My question is this: Are there currently any circumstances under which it's acceptable to pick your seat? Whose seat should you pick instead? (Yes, thank you, I've been told I'm a twisted individual.)

She didn't, but since she's the professional and I'm the student, I didn't argue and simply accepted what she said.

Well, first of all they announced PFALT as a modern-refreshed version of PFAL that helps people to understand the bible. Publicly they will say that is a Bible-based course "only". In private circles, or when they need to "correct" or " reproof" someone, they use the Class's syllabus and the coordinator's "guide" as if they were the Bible itself

Great question(s).

Easy Movie Quotes

Maybe not huh? Another, same movie. "What's a rock and roll band for man, if you can't party all night and do bad things? Let's plan a murder or start a religion". "Come on, let's get some tacos". -
I'm not sure which Baldwin brother that is, but I'm going to try eliminate which one he isn't to narrow him down. If I'm wrong then, there's no harm in my trying. He wasn't in Backdraft and he's not Alec so let's go with Vampires James Woods The Specialist Fingers crossed Nope, I *checked*. Wrong Baldwin.

Thanks, Joe. This is so interesting. One day there will be no living direct connection to vpw. Someone will have been taught directly from Vern, who was taught directly from vpw... the apostolic succession. But won't this be the same "tradition" of "religion" they are always defecating on? Do they believe PFAL is the Word of God? Do they believe PFAL is theopneustos, as Mike does? Either by implication or direct teaching?

How did she convince you that you had been hypnotized other than saying you were?

TWI does not promote the "1942-promise" anymore at least publicly. In the inner circles they still promote the idea of a directly proportional relationship between how close you were to VPW and how great you are. They did recently a "leader-profile" in the Way Magazine about Vern Edwards and they mentioned how close he was with Dorothea.

Thanks Folks! And Keep it up! It's kinda funny cause I've been witnessing your posts and discussions since 2009 and now we are chatting. I even witnessed the Mike-Wars xD I'm thankful to all of you and especially Penworks for having the guts to write down all her experiences.

As tax day nears, I'm just wondering if any of you have humorous stories or information. Due to a job change, this is the first time in over 15 years that I have to send a check, rather than get a refund. Checking the IRS website to make sure I do it all correctly, I saw this gem: We can't accept single check or money order amounts of $100 million or more. You can submit multiple payments or make a same-day wire payment. How fortunate that I owe less than $100 MILLION!!!! George

Welcome Joe. Your words "only to become a leader" hit home. That turned out to be my big mistake. I should have been contented with going out WOW then go home and be happy. But no, I had to go in the Corpse. And I became one.
