  3. Presumed Innocent Bonnie Bedelia Die Hard George
  4. Ok, George posted before I did, so his post counts. Proceeding from "Jaws". Richard Dreyfuss American Graffiti Harrison Ford
  5. Ok, did an image search on Sandahl Bergman. Recognized her face from another role. Airplane II- the Sequel Herve Villechaize the Man With the Golden Gun (That should at give at least 2 good actors to link from-the one who played James Bond, and the one who played Francisco Scaramanga.)
  6. All That Jazz Roy Scheider Jaws George
  7. Sounds like Arte Johnson on Rowan and Martin's Laugh-in. George
  8. I'm thinking Top Gun, but "wingman" has other meanings, so I'm not sure. George
  9. Happy Together "Girl, you thought you found the answer on that magic carpet ride last night, But when you wake up in the mornin' the world still gets you uptight." George
  10. "I had visions, I was in them I was looking into the mirror, to see a little bit clearer the rottenness and evil in me. Fingertips have memories, Mine can't forget the curves of your body. And when I feel a bit naughty, I run it up the flagpole and see who salutes, but no one ever does. I'm not sick but I'm not well, and I'm so hot 'cause I'm in hell." *skip* "We're no strangers to love. You know the rules and so do I (Do I). A full commitment's what I'm thinking of. You wouldn't get this from any other guy. I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you understand." "We've known each other for so long Your heart's been aching, but you're too shy to say it (To say it) Inside, we both know what's been going on (Going on) We know the game, and we're gonna play it. And if you ask me how I'm feeling Don't tell me you're too blind to see." Please name the song in boldface. (Bragging rights if you can name the song NOT in boldface, which is harder.) (Actually, the word "paranoia" APPEARS in the plain text one, but it's not the title. Didn't think of that until I reviewed all the lyrics.)
  11. I know who Mako is, a bit. He's one of a handful of Asian actors who got all the roles as "the Asian guy" in TV and movies and so on. All of them showed up on MASH at some point. I remember him from that, and some other TV appearances here and there. (Mako appeared 4 times on MASH as 4 different characters. The first was the North Korean officer in charge of a prisoner exchange, Dr Lin Tam. He's the one who was offended when one of the doctors pulled a gun- until he saw the actual pistol Frank Burns pulled, and wasn't impressed. "What the hell is that?" The second was Major Choi, in charge of a Korean army hospital. That's a hard role to remember, but he recognized Frank Burns by reputation- "old Ferret Face." The third was the one I remember best, South Korean Lieutenant Hung Lee Park, in charge of a wounded prisoner they tried to help escape. That was the officer who played chess with Major Winchester. Finally, he played the North Korean soldier who had a wounded comrade. He found Hawkeye driving, and held him at gunpoint, trying to get him to treat the soldier without allowing him to move the soldier, whose chest injury looked bad but his head injury didn't and was a LOT more serious.) The name "Sandahl Bergman" isn't ringing a bell yet.
  12. 25 more days until April 30, 2025 at 5 pm to get your copies of VPW letters to the Way Corps from my own personal files. These letters are an eductation in how VPW manipulated the Corps behind-the-scenes. They also preserve TWI history which is being lost or changed. Send me a message either here on GSC or at https://charleneedge.com
  13. No I didn't know the title but I thought it was those lyrics in the post. Sorry I took a detour. Carry on then.
  14. If you remembered the title of the first one- without looking it up= then go ahead and post it, preferably with the artist. Otherwise, I'll be adding more lyrics shortly. (The song in boldface is MUCH better-known.)
  15. Who the heck is Mako and Sandahl Bergman while were at it? Just not everyday household names. I doubt it will help me I can't name anyone from Conan.
  16. "Imagine me and you, I do I think about you every night it's only right to think about the girl you love and hold tight"
  17. Obviously I know the title now, but I also noticed that the I'm not sick but I'm not well part was in parentheses beside its title, after I posted. I have no idea about the song currently that you put in boldface WordWolf. However, I do know most of the lyrics of the non-boldface song. "can't forget the curves of your body, and when I feel a bit naughty I ran up the flagpole and see"
  18. Not The Cure. Not the Dandy Warhols. Not "Paranoia", and there's nothing in either title to do with any disease or diseases. Apparently (I just learned), "King Iso" did a song called "Not Well." That song and that artist have nothing to do with this round at all. Both songs got airplay. The one in regular type, I don't expect you to know. The one in boldface, that one you know. It's pretty famous. The reason I posted 2 songs like that? It was a clue to the song in boldface.
  19. Incorrect, those were quotes from 2 different songs. You have neither title and neither group.
  20. Those were 2 different songs. The one in boldface is the one for the round, but the other one there is partly for bragging rights to name also, since it's a lot harder around here. (The rest of the reason will be clear when the round is over.) Neither is the title of either song. So, still looking for a song title (one or the other.)
  21. I think the song title that is not in boldface is the title of the song isn't it? I'm Not Sick But I'm Not Well whoever the group is.
  22. But skipping back a little, I'm not sure but, I want to say ~The Cure~ but no, not them I know. Paranoia or possibly something to do with a disease is the title. Dandy Worhols maybe Not Well.,
