Billboard's # 6978 is Shania Twain.
Shania Twain grew up in Timmins, Ontario surrounded by many different musical influences. She developed her singing skills and started performing when she was just a child.
Later she worked with her father on a reforestation crew while she continued to sing in clubs during the offseason.
Eventually, she made it down to Nashville, where she got signed on THE strength of her original songs. Her third album "Come On Over" features sixteen new compositions by Twain and her husband and producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange.
